W.E.B. DUBOIS ACADEMY SATURDAY SCHOOL PROGRAM

STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

2007 Scholarship Awards were awarded at the May 12, 2007 Annual Scholarship Dinner Dance.

The Black Men of Greater Springfield's W.E.B. Dubois Academy has established a scholarship fund to support the efforts of the young men to pursue higher education. 

Amount of Award:  Up to $1,500 per year.

Eligibility:

The applicant must be a current or former member of the W.E.B. Dubois Academy program.

The applicant must be applying/accepted to an institution for personal development (i.e. college, business/trade school, career training program, etc.).

Prior award recipients are eligible to re-apply provided they are still enrolled in an institution for personal development.

To apply:  Applications must be received by May 4th each year.  Awards are announced in May of each year.
